Milan are reportedly ready to sign Piotr Zielinski from Udinese, but can’t do anything until Carlos Bacca has been sold.

The striker turned down a €30m transfer to West Ham United this week, as he stated he wants to play Champions League football if he does leave San Siro.

As Atletico Madrid, PSG and Arsenal are yet to make a firm approach, Bacca is going nowhere for the moment.

Delays in completing the takeover by Chinese investors means Milan are short on funds and need to sell before bringing anyone new in.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have agreed terms with both Udinese and Zielinski for the Poland international midfielder.

However, as long as the financial situation remains like this, they cannot clinch the deal.

That leaves the door open for Liverpool or even Napoli to dive back in for Zielinski.
