Fiorentina will be without Khouma Babacar for two to three weeks, while Stefan Savic is also in doubt against Juventus.

The Viola face Juve in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday.

A medical report confirmed Babacar will “be ready in two to three weeks” after suffering a Grade I lesion to his thigh muscle during the 1-0 win over Inter.

Savic was also stretchered off in that game at San Siro and there are “no significant lesions,” but he’s still unlikely to be risked against Juve.

Mati Fernandez, Jose Maria Basanta and Borja Valero are all in doubt, while goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu is definitively ruled out.

Nenad Tomovic was stretchered off in a neck brace against Inter and tests showed no head trauma.

“However, in these cases you need to be very careful for at least five days, as a second impact could be more serious.”
