Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio says “there are no conditions” for Javier Pastore to sign from Paris Saint-Germain, and Walter Sabatini calls a deal “improbable”.

The Argentinian international has been consistently linked with the Nerazzurri, but they want a straight loan deal while the French club want at least an obligation to buy.

The Argentinian international has been consistently linked with the Nerazzurri, but they want a straight loan deal while the French club want at least an obligation to buy.

The two directors met today to try and work out a way to bring him to San Siro, but it appears a deal is unlikely.

“There’s no news about anyone,” Ausilio told reporters as he left Inter’s HQ.

“I give solid reality, not dreams. We have to work. Dreams are not part of our job, we look at serious things which are needed for Inter.

“Pastore? Right now there are no conditions for him or for others.

“As for Mauro Icardi, I don’t respond to things when there’s no need to answer.”

The Icardi statement was in reference to a tweet from an Argentinian Twitter account claiming the striker was on his way to Real Madrid, though the account had only five tweets and cited no employer in the football media.

Walter Sabatini was also interviewed as he left, and he echoed the words of his fellow director when asked about Pastore.

“I have a connection with all the good feelings in life, including strong players. You’ve talked to the sporting director, what do I need to add?

“I think the director told you plausible things. It’s a complex situation and, I would also add, improbable.”
