Emil Audero and Lazar Samardzic will both undergo their medicals with Inter today, ready to become the latest additions to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

The Nerazzurri have decided to pick up Audero to give fellow new signing Yann Sommer some cover between the posts. The Italian shot stopper will join the club on a loan deal with a €6-7m buy option attached.

Samardzic is expected to feature more regularly than Audero next season, being an important addition to Inzaghi’s midfield. The 21-year-old is moving on a €4m loan deal with a €16m obligation to buy clause attached, which also includes €2-3m in add-ons and youngster Giovanni Fabian.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, both Audero and Samardzic will carry out their medicals with Inter today before signing their contracts, confirming their transfers to the Lombardy capital.

The former has already completed the first part of his tests and is now at the CONI headquarters to carry out the second part.
