Atletico Madrid are now preparing to make their final decision about the loan deal for Juventus’ Moise Kean following the collapse of Angel Correa’s move to Saudi Arabia, transfer pundit Matteo Moretto reports.

The Spanish side have reached a total agreement with the Bianconeri for the 23-year-old Italian striker, willing to pick him up on a circa €400,000 loan deal with no buy option attached. They had overtaken other interested clubs including Fiorentina and Monza.

Atletico were signing Kean to provide short-term cover for the frontline as they looked to sell Correa to Al-Ittihad, but that deal has now collapsed, and the Argentine forward is looking set to stay in the Spanish capital.

Italian transfer pundit Matteo Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing that Atletico are now in the process of deciding whether or not to sign off on Kean’s loan deal regardless of Correa’s situation.

The Italian striker is still holding out for a move to Diego Simeone’s side, but for now he’ll have to wait and see what the Spanish club decide.
