Atletico Madrid continue their push for Milan striker Carlos Bacca, but the price-tag is €30m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Colchoneros have sent representatives to Italy for negotiations.

The current proposal is close to €25m with wages for the Colombian worth €3.8m per year, a four-year contract with option for a fifth.

Milan are aiming for a €30m fee, as that would match the sum paid a year ago to prise him from Sevilla.

Bacca turns 30 in September and in his debut Serie A season was Milan’s top scorer with 18 goals in 38 appearances.

He also netted two in five games on the way to the Coppa Italia Final.

Atletico Madrid’s first targets are Napoli hitman Gonzalo Higuain or Inter’s Mauro Icardi, but they would be far more expensive.

They also face competition for Bacca’s signature from Premier League side West Ham United.
