Atalanta have secured a double swoop for free agent Sead Kolasinac and €10m Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Mitchel Bakker, with medicals already booked.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, the deals have been done and are just waiting for the paperwork to be formalised.

Bakker just turned 23 and is a product of the Ajax youth academy, who spent two years at Paris Saint-Germain before his €7m transfer to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2021.

He plays on the left side of midfield as a wing-back and it is reported the cost of the operation is in the region of €10m.

The Dutchman is due to sign a four-year contract with an option to add a fifth season.

As for Kolasinac, the 30-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international defender is a free agent after his contract with Olympique Marseille was allowed to run down.

His previous clubs include Arsenal and Schalke 04, but this will be his first experience in Serie A.
