Atalanta have confirmed Stefano Colantuono will stay on the bench after taking them to promotion into Serie A.
There were major doubts over whether the Coach would be axed for the step up to the top division, especially after links with Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri.
“Colantuono will be our Coach next season in Serie A,” declared director of sport Gabriele Zamagna.
“There are absolutely no doubts about that. Colantuono deserved this confirmation due to what he has proved to everyone this term.

The statements were made during last night's promotion celebrations, in which around 30,000 fans watched the side parade through Bergamo in an open-top bus.
