Roma defenders Davide Astori and Kostas Manolas will face fitness tests ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Napoli.

Roma TV reports that while Astori will be assessed after picking up a suspected thigh strain during last night’s win over Cesena, Manolas is also facing uncertainty over a knock to his right knee.

Italian international Astori pulled up after a sprint, and was heard telling the Giallorossi team doctor ‘I’ve strained it’.

Rudi Garcia seemed to confirm the defender would miss the Napoli game during his post-match assessment.

Hopes are higher though for Manolas, with the Coach commenting that the Greek defender’s injury ‘doesn’t seem like a big deal’.

Astori is likely to be replaced at centre-back in Naples by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, who came off the bench to take the Italian’s place in last night’s match.
