“It was a great win against Milan,” Asamoah told Sky.

“We always want to progress in the Coppa, we always want to get to the final and that’s our objective.

“Unfortunately we lost to them [Milan] in the Supercoppa Italiana a few months ago, but yesterday’s match was important for us to progress in the Coppa Italia.”

Juve travel to Sassuolo on Sunday, and Asamoah knows they must improve their away form to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

“We want to take more points in these games. If we want to win the League we also have to be ruthless away from home.

“We know that Sassuolo are a strong team because they have a lot of talented young players.

“But we, with this ruthlessness, must keep pushing forward and take home the result.”
