Kwadwo Asamoah believes Juventus are “even stronger than last year” and discusses his injury battle.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who can also play at wing-back was sidelined with a knee injury, and suffered a series of muscular problems on his return.

That has led to just 18 Serie A appearances over the last two seasons, but the 27-year-old expects a more positive campaign this time around.

“We’re preparing for the League,” Asamoah told JTV.

“We’re preparing for the League,” Asamoah told JTV.

“We want to win it, but we’re also preparing for Europe where we want to prove our strength. I feel very good and that’s important for me, because I wasn’t able to have a pre-season last year.

“I want to have a good season and I think that, working hard, I’ll succeed. The team is even stronger than least year, quality players have come in and they can really help us.”
