Arsenal reportedly asked Juventus once again for centre-back Daniele Rugani, but he is considered the future of the Bianconeri.

Arsene Wenger’s interest in Rugani is no secret, just as Maurizio Sarri tried repeatedly to bring the former Empoli defender to Napoli.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Gunners gave it another go recently with another approach to see if Rugani would be available either in January or over the summer.

It’s claimed Arsenal were prepared to pay up to €30m to get Rugani in the squad.

However, Juventus have no intention of letting him go, seeing the 22-year-old as the future of their back line.

He already has two senior Italy caps and this season scored three goals in 16 competitive appearances.
