The Rossoneri had been considerably closer to a deal over the last few days at €25m, but then Inter raised their proposal to €27m.

If Kondogbia should veer towards the Premier League, then both Inter and Milan would focus their attention on Olympique Marseille youngster Imbula.
“Things are heating up with the Italian option, while Valencia are always waiting,” said Imbula’s agent Willy Ndangi today.
“The decision is down to the club and they’ve asked me not to say too much.”
