Arsenal could spend €65m for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, but he’d go back via Real Madrid first.

The forward joined Juve in a complicated deal in 2014, which gives Real Madrid the option to buy him back this summer for €30m (which drops depending on how many competitive games he has played).

According to Spanish site OKdiario, the Merengues have a plan to make a huge profit on Morata by getting him back from Juve and immediately selling him on to Arsenal.

The operation would cost in the region of €65m (£50m) between transfer fee and wages.

As part of the deal, Juventus cannot accept an offer for Morata before July 16 2017, so any Arsenal bid would have to go through Madrid.
