The Colombian international left Udinese on a season-long loan, apparently without an option to buy, though the details will be made clear after his medical on Monday.

“We are all very happy,” agent Luciano Ramalho told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Pablo is really enthusiastic about this great chance. We finalised everything yesterday. Adriano Galliani is a pragmatic man and doesn’t like to waste time, so we quickly reached an agreement that suited everyone. Now Pablo is happy.”

Having spent time at Napoli and West Ham United, Armero had his sights set firmly on San Siro.

“We can only thank Napoli for a good experience, but Pablo has a new experience to live now. There were offers from English clubs, but we chose Milan.

“We expect a new path at a big club, so must now focus on working hard and hoping to continue the fine performances seen at the World Cup.”
