PSV Eindhoven right-back Santiago Arias denies he had a Juventus medical, but does admit the Bianconeri “would be a dream.”

There had been reports last month that the 26-year-old was on the verge of a transfer to Turin.

“I read that too, but to be honest, when it was written that I was in Turin, I was still in Holland,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport after Colombia’s friendly game against Egypt.

There had been reports last month that the 26-year-old was on the verge of a transfer to Turin.

“I read that too, but to be honest, when it was written that I was in Turin, I was still in Holland,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport after Colombia’s friendly game against Egypt.

“I don’t know what will happen with my future, as I have no news right now. Of course, it’d be a dream to play for Juve…”

Bianconeri director of sport Fabio Paratici was in the stands to view that Colombia match and is ready to go for Arias as a replacement for Stephan Lichtsteiner, whose contract has run down.

Matteo Darmian had been the favourite, but Juventus have no intention of going above the €12m plus bonuses offer and Manchester United are holding out for €20m.
