The Football Federation in Argentina confirm they are “negotiating with Juventus to let Paulo Dybala play in the Olympics.”
 
The forward is in the preliminary squad for the tournament, but Dybala himself told reporters that Juve would not give permission to take part in the August competition.

“We are doing everything possible and are working with the clubs who, unfortunately, are not forced to release their players for the Olympics,” AFA President Luis Segura told newspaper Ole.
 
“Daniel Angelici is negotiating with Juventus to let Dybala play in the Olympics.
 
"From the initial 35-man list there will eventually be only 22, so we hope the European clubs let their players go.”
