Guilherme Arana said joining Atalanta on loan from Sevilla with option to buy “represents a big step for my career and my life.”
The left-back completed the transfer today, having moved from Corinthians to Sevilla for €12m in January 2018.
“I am happy, as is my family,” the 22-year-old said on the official Atalanta website.
“I want to give everything for a club that has such belief in me. I have friends who already play here and it represents a big step for my career and my life.

Arana was asked to introduce himself to the Atalanta supporters.
“I play on the left wing and like to attack, but I know that in Italy it’s important to know how to defend too. I want to immediately put myself at the disposal of the Coach.”
