Velez Sarsfield midfielder Nicolas Dominguez is reportedly flying to Italy tomorrow to sign for Bologna in a €10m deal.

According to reporters Matteo Pedrosi and Agustin Sileo, the 21-year-old Argentine is a done deal thanks to his €10m release clause, or at least somewhere close to it.

The Rossoblu are due to purchase 75 per cent of his contract, as in Argentina many players are part-owned by companies or agents.

Bologna will probably allow him to remain at Velez Sarsfield until at least December 2019, although more likely to June 2020.

Dominguez made a big impact so far this term, contributing three goals in just four Superliga matches.

He’ll be in Italy on Thursday for a medical and to sign the contract.

Dominguez is seen as the heir to Erick Pulgar, who moved to Fiorentina last month.
