Alberto Aquilani's injury has turned out to be less serious than first feared, but he is still a doubt for Juventus' trip to Parma.

The on-loan Liverpool midfielder withdrew from training yesterday after picking up a thigh muscle problem.

The Italian international underwent scans in Turin earlier today which ruled out any tear to his right femoral biceps.

Aquilani will now undergo a fitness test on Saturday before a decision will be taken on whether to include him for the Tardini trip.
