But the full-back has conceded that he'd like to try his hand in England, whilst also commenting on Stephan El Shaarawy's storming off against Palermo yesterday.

“I'd like to play abroad,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Especially in the Premier League.

“Russia? Yes it's true that there was something going on back in January, but now I want to get my shirt back for the Rossoneri.

“El Shaarawy was annoyed when he left the pitch yesterday against Palermo, and I don't know why,” the former Sampdoria man added.

“He decided to go directly into the dressing room instead of sitting on the bench, and that's not the right thing to do.

“Amelia went after El Shaarawy, but I stopped him and told him that it was better to just let Stephan leave.

“The whole thing was cleared up afterwards though.”
