“Nobody can get involved in the management choices and if Gil Dias ends up scoring today, everyone will praise Stefano Pioli.”
While the Rossoneri spent €200m over the summer, they have struggled and sit two points behind frugal Fiorentina.
“I didn’t expect us to be above Milan at the midway stage of the season. Their investments on the market frankly made everyone assume they’d be in a better situation.
“In football anything can happen. They are paying the price for a turbulent start and also the change of Coach from Vincenzo Montella to Gennaro Gattuso.
“I believe Gattuso will in the end bring Milan back to where they belong.”
