Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur career received another embarrassing knock after crashing out of the FA Cup against Middlesbrough, meaning he will not win a trophy this term.
It was goalless after 90 minutes and went to extra time at the Riverside, where Boro – who play in England’s equivalent of Serie B – emerged winners at the 107th minute thanks to a goal from substitute Josh Coburn.
Conte is at least in good company, because Middlesbrough already eliminated Manchester United from the FA Cup in the last round and now find themselves in the quarter-finals.
Spurs had put out a strong side, including ex-Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski, Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane.
What a finish!
The Riverside Stadium is ROCKING.

I don’t think non British managers realise how important the cups are, so maybe don’t care as much
And yet another Football Italia story on Spurs.
We don’t care what Mr. Wig does in ugly Tottenham. Thanks.
No one cares about Conte and Tottenham.
