Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli is realistic about Empoli’s hopes of avoiding relegation against Fiorentina, “but anyone who doesn’t believe shouldn’t set foot in the stadium.”

It kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 UK time (10.30 GMT).

“I want to be realistic, but of course we believe in our chances. Anyone who doesn’t believe probably shouldn’t set foot in the Stadio Castellani,” said Andreazzoli in his Press conference.

Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli is realistic about Empoli’s hopes of avoiding relegation against Fiorentina, “but anyone who doesn’t believe shouldn’t set foot in the stadium.”

“I want to be realistic, but of course we believe in our chances. Anyone who doesn’t believe probably shouldn’t set foot in the Stadio Castellani,” said Andreazzoli in his Press conference.

“We are also rational and it is increasingly irritating to be without important players all in the same area of the team. We’re still in it and seeing the glass half-full can only help.

“Matias Silvestre should be back, so that is some good news. The team has always fought hard, even in difficult circumstances, and proved they’ve got what it takes.

“I can’t wait to take on Fiorentina and hope to win, which would give our fans extra satisfaction that they really deserve.”

Udinese are the side closest to the drop zone, with a four-point gap, and they play Inter this evening.

“It would’ve been better to play at the same time as our direct rivals for places, as it’s not helpful for teams to know the other results before they set out on to the pitch.”
