“Nobody came to me directly to tell me anything. I’m 100 per cent focused on playing for Lazio and I want to do my best to help my team.”
Lazio are in Ukraine today as they look to overturn a 2-2 draw from the first leg of their Europa League Last 16 game with Dynamo Kiev.
“If they’ve reached this stage of the Europa League then they have to be respected, just as all the teams in the competition should be respected.
“We have to be very attentive, we know they’ll be very nervous too, the team which makes the fewer mistakes will go through – and I hope it’s Lazio!”
