Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen is ‘happy’ for Marco Giampaolo ahead of his move to Milan and admits the Rossoneri are a ‘great’ club.

Giampiero is expected to be named Milan’s new Coach once the Diavolo install their new-look board, spearheaded by Paolo Maldini.

“In the last few days I’ve been focused on my exam, which lasted 24 hours,” Andersen told Ekstra Bladet.

“I haven’t read much of what’s in the Press. I’m happy for Giampaolo, but at the same time I’m a little disappointed because he was a great Coach for me…”
