Carlo Ancelotti is meeting with Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli and President Aurelio De Laurentiis this evening, it’s reported.
According to Sportitalia and the Corriere dello Sport, De Laurentiis has decided he will no longer wait for Maurizio Sarri to make a decision and is going full steam ahead for Ancelotti.
The former Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich tactician is a free agent after he was sacked by the German champions.

Multiple sources expressed amazement today at just how advanced the negotiations with Ancelotti are.
Not only do Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia claim Ancelotti is meeting director of sport Giuntoli in Rome, but the Corriere dello Sport even published video of the Coach arriving at the home of De Laurentiis.
It’s also notable that De Laurentiis left today’s Lega Serie A summit in Milan before anyone else and rushed off, presumably to take part in this meeting.
The contract on the table is reportedly €6.5m per season for two years with option for a third, but Ancelotti would prefer a straight three-year deal, claim Sportitalia.
