Massimo Ambrosini says he would reach out to Paolo Maldini “immediately” if he sat on Milan’s board.
Maldini has been linked with a return to Milan in an executive role under the club’s new Chinese owners, and Ambrosini urged the latter to get on with persuading his former Rossoneri teammate.
“If I was a Milan fan, I’d wish for Paolo Maldini to come back,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“If I was on their board, I’d consult with him immediately. That said, no-one [from the club] has called me.”
