Jose Altafini believes Gonzalo Higuain "has to celebrate” if he scores for Juventus against Napoli.

Higuain left the Partenopei this summer when the Bianconeri activated his release clause, and will face his former side for the first time tomorrow.

Altafini made the same move in 1972, and the former striker has advice for his fellow South American.

“Enough with this story about being ungrateful!” the Brazilian declared in an interview with Sport Mediaset.

“Enough with this story about being ungrateful!” the Brazilian declared in an interview with Sport Mediaset.

“If he plays and scores, Higuain has to celebrate. It wouldn’t be wrong to do so, you have to do well for those who pay you!

“It’s very normal to change teams, enough of these stories. We have to put an end to this notion of not letting players play against their former teams.

“There are players who don’t celebrate when they score against their former teams, but that’s wrong. You play for a team, and it’s only right that you do well for whoever pays you.

“I got whistled in Naples all the time when I went to Juve. It’s normal to change teams, even in politics you can change your party.

“Higuain has to go out and play, and if he scores he has to celebrate like anyone else.

“He’s not celebrating against Napoli, he’s celebrating for his team and for his fans.”
