Former Juventus Coach Marcello Lippi believes Massimiliano Allegri’s Bianconeri are ‘less aggressive’ than Antonio Conte’s side.

Conte departed from the Juventus bench in the summer to be immediately replaced by former Milan manager Allegri.

Since that time the Bianconeri have won six of their opening seven Serie A fixtures, but World Cup winner Lippi sees some differences from the Old Lady of Conte.

“This team is less aggressive,” Conte told Politica nel Pallone this week.

“They play a slightly different brand of football. They prefer to have more possession and slower build-up play, and in this there is a difference.

“But Allegri has done well not to change the attitude and approach of a team which has dominated the League for the last three years.”
