Gazzetta dello Sport writes today that Allegri asked Juventus for a meeting to discuss the club’s plans before he agrees to a renewal.

The tactician wants a squad capable of competing for the Champions League title, beginning with clarity over the futures of Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata or their eventual replacements.

The report also says Allegri wants to discuss the rumours of Chelsea’s interest in Leonardo Bonucci, as well as potential summer signings that would help Juve succeed in Europe.

Allegri looks likely to win his second consecutive Scudetto in Turin and currently has a contract that expires in June 2017.
