Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri posted a farewell message to Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo. “You embodied football and will continue to represent it.”
Buffon played his final game for Juve in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Hellas Verona, though he has not yet decided if he’ll retire from football after an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Pirlo retired last year, but will have his testimonial at San Siro next week.

“Yesterday Gigi Buffon closed a chapter in the history of Juve that can never be repeated, tomorrow Pirlo says goodbye: you embodied football and will continue to represent it in your new roles!”
