Juventus Coach Max Allegri is expected to renew his contract next Monday or Tuesday, while Gianluigi Buffon should also extend his deal.

The Champions League exit against Bayern League this week was not sufficient to dent the faith that the Bianconeri directors have in their Coach.

Allegri has been at the centre of substantial speculation, and at one point many believed he was the most likely candidate to take Chelsea's bench next year, a position that eventually went to Antonio Conte.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Allegri is expected to renew his deal with Juventus next week on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

He will bind himself to the club until 2018, with an option to renew until 2019. His salary will also be amended upwards and he will be earning about €5m per year.

Gazzetta also believe that goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who is two minutes away from setting a new Serie A record for the longest consecutive time without taking a goal, will extend his contract by another two years.

The publication is less precise on the subject though, as they seem to infer this simply from the Azzurro's statement that Juventus will win the Champions League within two years.
