Massimiliano Allegri confessed there’s “a very good chance” Paul Pogba could start for Juventus against Real Madrid.

The first leg ended 2-1 in Turin and the decider is at the Bernabeu tomorrow evening.

“I played Stefano Sturaro because I thought that at the start of that game we needed a player with his characteristics,” explained the Coach in a Press conference.

“As for Pogba, he is in good shape and I think there’s a very good chance he will start tomorrow’s match.”

Carlos Tevez was on target along with Alvaro Morata in the first leg.

“Carlos represents for Juventus, but above all for world football, an extraordinary striker who is always a pleasure to watch.

“I think he’s having a great year and scored important goals in the Champions League too, which he hadn’t done for a while.”

Karim Benzema missed the first leg, so will his return to fitness prompt any changes in approach?

“It changes absolutely nothing in our way of defending, because I think it’s highly unlikely that it’ll end 0-0. I hope it will, even if that’s offensive to say, but Real Madrid score goals and we score goals, so I expect an entertaining game.

“I have wiped out the first leg in my mind. Tomorrow is a one-off and we cannot think of having the advantage of two results out of three on our side.

“It’s impossible to control Real Madrid, especially on home turf, as they are even more attack-minded than on their travels.

“There’s no point to thinking we can just defend. The more we have the ball, the less likely it is Real Madrid will score.

“We are 95 minutes away from Berlin. I don’t see why we shouldn’t believe that we can get there. It's going to be a long 95 minutes, though. Interminable.”

Allegri urged calm in his squad and said he usually sleeps like a stone before a game. Is that still the case in Madrid?

“I will sleep tonight – I just hope not to be caught napping on the bench tomorrow! We need a great performance. Of course when I started coaching, the ultimate dream was to win the Champions League.”
