Max Allegri explains his decision to choose Moise Kean upfront with Federico Chiesa as Juventus host Cagliari. ‘It is objectively a dangerous game.’

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 17.00 GMT.

“We must put in the performance for ourselves, as this is worth three points against a side that has won three in a row between Serie A and the Coppa Italia,” Allegri told DAZN.

“It is objectively dangerous, so we must play with balance, focus and keep it technically precise.”

Vlahovic returns to the starting XI as a partner to Federico Chiesa, sending Moise Kean back to the touchline.

“Kean is doing well, I made this decision knowing that I have the options to make changes off the bench.”

The Bianconeri have the opportunity to at least temporarily go top of the table, but Allegri will not stand for questions about the Serie A showdown with Inter, which is scheduled after the break for international duty.

“We must focus on this game and not what will happen in two weeks, otherwise we risk wasting all our momentum.”

Juventus are on a run of six consecutive Serie A clean sheets, winning five of those games, four of them on the bounce.

They suffered only one defeat all season, a thriller with Sassuolo, and are in second place just behind leaders Inter.
