Max Allegri warns “one misstep” could prove costly for Juventus in the Champions League as “we’re in a group of three” with Manchester United and Valencia.

The Bianconeri face the Spanish side at the Mestalla tonight, and the Coach warns they absolutely cannot lose.

“We come into it in good form after four wins in the league,” Allegri told Sky.

“We need to be aware that to get through we need to work hard because it’s a balanced group, with Manchester United and Valencia already having a lot of Champions League experience.

“Playing in this stadium isn’t easy, and the chances of going through are very much affected by this match because if we win it’s a much easier path than if we get a negative result.

“Without taking anything away from Young Boys it’s a group of three where one misstep can certainly influence your path.

“I’m still to decide whether to play with two or three midfielders, we know Valencia play in a very compact way and hit on the break with players who have great technique and speed

“We can’t allow them to do that, because this is an environment where the pressure can mount quickly.

“So we need to play a very good game technically, and above all we have to be ready to manage the conditions of the match.”
