Massimiliano Allegri is confident Juventus will improve their Champions League away record at Malmo.

It kicks off in Sweden on Wednesday at 19.45 GMT and follows on from 1-0 defeats at both Atletico Madrid and Olympiacos.

“It’s not an issue, as we lost two away games that we played very well,” said Allegri in his Press conference.

“In Madrid we showed great character, while in Greece we had numerous scoring opportunities despite not having a good first half.

“The result counts tomorrow, we just need to be quick and wide awake to understand how to play on this turf.”

The pitch at the Swedbank Stadion is a cause for concern ahead of the big game, so Allegri was asked if it could penalise the more technically-gifted team.

“There’s no point talking about the pitch now. We have to adapt quickly, because we want to win tomorrow. We have 95 minutes at our disposal to achieve that. We are in good form and have everything it takes to win.

“Malmo play very different football at home to away, as they are more aggressive and have played some very good games. They did not deserve to lose to Atletico, while it will be difficult for us as at this stage everyone is still in the running for qualification.”

Carlos Tevez finally ended his Champions League goal drought this season, but is yet to score away from home in Europe.

“I hope he can start from tomorrow. After all, he hadn’t scored in this tournament for many years and broke that drought against Malmo in Turin.”
