After defeating Napoli in the crucial Scudetto showdown last Saturday, the Old Lady are on top of the Serie A table for the first time this season.

Allegri urged his side to be wary of the ‘enthusiastic’ Bologna and stay focused on getting their 16th consecutive league win.

“The game against Bologna is crucial for the Scudetto," he said at today’s Press conference.

"We could go four points above Napoli awaiting other matches.

“Bologna are good technically, they’re a well-organised team. Since Donadoni arrived the collective has found balance, it’ll be a difficult match.

“They’re a team with nothing to lose, they’re in a good position in the table and very enthusiastic.

“We’re duty bound to come away with three points tomorrow. Napoli won’t give us an inch and we need to stay out in front. We can’t afford to get our approach wrong tomorrow."
