Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi will not make a decision on the future of boss Massimiliano Allegri until the end of the season.

Speculation was suggesting that the tactician could soon be offered a contract extension given Milan’s revival in Serie A.

After losing five of their first eight League games, the Diavolo are now third and only two points behind second-placed Napoli.

However, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Berlusconi wasn’t impressed with the club’s Champions League collapse this week.

Having won the first leg of their last 16 tie against Barcelona 2-0, the Rossoneri were on the receiving end of a 4-0 thumping at the Camp Nou.

Although Allegri has the faith of Vice-President Adriano Galliani, Berlusconi is said to be uncertain about the former Cagliari boss.

Allegri’s contract at the club is set to expire in June 2014. The former midfielder has been linked with a possible summer move to Roma.
