Napoli midfielder Allan describes the Scudetto as “a dream” – “if Maurizio Sarri goes to the Palace to seize power, we have to go behind him”.

The Partenopei are two points behind Juventus at the top of Serie A, but they’ve still to play the Bianconeri in Turin, as well as having a comparatively easier run-in.

“It would be a wonderful thing, it’s a dream for all of us and we know this is our chance,” Allan said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“If Sarri goes to the Palace to seize power, we have to go behind him.

“We’ve always had the fans behind us to support us, we need to stay focused mentally, work hard, and have a good end to the season.

“The head-to-head could be a decisive match, but so could Sassuolo. We can’t look ahead to the game against Juventus, it will come later.

“Sarri is good at keeping the concentration level high, we need to work well and try to improve as much as possible, because we’re nine games away from our dream.

“We’ve been on a great path, so far we’ve got very few matches wrong. Now we just have to work as hard as possible, see what we lacked in the last games, and have a great end to the season.

“The win over Genoa? It was a crucial match, now we’re back to two points behind Juventus but there’s still a long way to go.

“We have to think about ourselves and not the others.”
