Napoli’s Allan says the club have now moved on from Gonzalo Higuain’s departure to Juventus.
The Argentine forward opted to swap the Partenopei for the Bianconeri during the summer, heading to Turin for a fee of €90m.
The move caused outrage among San Paolo fans, but speaking to Globo Esporte the 25-year-old insisted he and his teammates are firmly focused on themselves.
“We players and supporters were taken by surprise by Higuain’s move to Juventus, but we have to respect his decision," midfielder Allan commented.

“The fans felt like they had been taken for a ride a bit, but now we have overcome it thanks to the players who came in and those already here.
“It is a closed chapter. Now we just need to think about helping each other on the pitch because Napoli can have a much better season that way.”
