“I would like to play every Roma game and I am training for this, but the few times I played I’ve given my all,” the 24-year-old said on Lancenet.

“During the matches and training sessions I feel confident, work very hard and the proof of that is that I perform well on international duty.

“I don’t think it will be a problem for me. Claudio Taffarel always tells me to stay calm, do my work and dedicate myself to keeping up my fitness levels.

“There is no better person than him to talk about these matters and he has helped me a great deal. I prefer to focus on the next objective.

“I want to play always, of course, and Roma know that. They asked me to be patient, because this is a period of transition. I will prove on the pitch what I can do.”
