“He’ll stay at Napoli, it even says in his contract: at Napoli for another year,” Miguel Albiol insisted on Radio Crc.

“We haven’t talked about Valencia in my family. Raul is happy to stay at Napoli and play in the blue shirt.
“Everything that we’re reading about Valencia isn’t of interest to my brother, Raul is only thinking about doing well for Napoli.
“If Napoli don’t renew his contract, Raul will give everything for the Napoli shirt until the last day [of his contract]. He’d be happy to stay and honour his contract.
“Of course, if Napoli and Valencia reach an agreement then we’ll see.
“Albiol had a fantastic season with [Coach Maurizio] Sarri, who has done a great job with the defence, improving the performance of my brother and the whole team.
“I don’t know Sarri, but he and Raul have an excellent relationship, and if Napoli didn’t win the Scudetto that’s just because Juventus did something extraordinary.
“If they can improve the squad, Napoli can win the Scudetto and I’m sure that next season they’ll fight to the end.
“The potential is great and they can get better.”
