Former Milan midfielder Demetrio Albertini admits returning to the club would be a ‘dream’.

Albertini is a Milan legend, having made over 400 appearances for the Rossoneri between 1988 and 2002, winning five Scudetti and three European Cups.

The 45-year-old is currently out of work in football after spells with FIGC and Parma, but he made it clear a role back at San Siro was in his sights.

“I’ve never been contacted by anyone,” he said at the 2018 edition of the Gran Gala del Calcio.
