“I’d always want him in my team,” Albertini said when asked about the prospect outside the ceremony to announce the Gran Galà del Calcio nominees.

“There’s the cost that it can be difficult to manage things, but he gives you different solutions are a player and personality.”
Albertini was also asked how he’d improve the national team.
“I saw the match against Portugal, Italy played well and were well organised on the pitch but there weren’t many emotions.
“I hope more and more Italians will play in Serie A, now that our teams are doing well in Europe, young Italians have the chance to gain experience in big games and that can be important for the national team too.”
