Agent Giuseppe Riso has not excluded a return to Serie A for Sevilla forward Papu Gomez.

The Argentine left Atalanta in January 2021 after a falling out with Gian Piero Gasperini, and the former Orobici captain has revealed he ‘misses Bergamo’.

His controversial exit was caused by a clash with Gasperini and the 33-year-old moved to Sevilla for a reported €5m last winter.

Papu: ‘Some Atalanta games bore me’

He signed a deal until June 2024 with the La Liga side and his agent stressed the forward is happy in Andalusia. But Riso has not excluded a return to Italy for the Argentina international.

“He’s doing very well in Seville, but he loves Italy,” Riso told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “So, in the future, I won’t rule out a return to Serie A in the future.”

Gomez played 18 League games after his move to Sevilla in January, contributing three goals and one assist in the process.
