Marco Verratti's agent assures his client is “ready” for Italy and doesn’t believe Blaise Matuidi will join Juventus.

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder missed Euro 2016 after surgery on a hip injury, but scored in the 3-0 win over Metz on Sunday.

“He has put his injury behind him,” Donato Di Campli assured Tuttomercatoweb.

“We’re happy, and he’s ready to answer the call of the national team too.

“A return to Italy? I’ve always said that it’s hard to move Verratti. PSG believe in him, so anyone who wants him would have to approach Paris and present them a very important offer.

“Otherwise it’s very hard to take him away.”

One player who could be leaving Parc Des Princes is Blaise Matuidi, with French media in agreement that he has a deal with Juventus.

Di Campli, however, expects the 29-year-old to remain in Ligue 1.

“In my view he won’t move from Paris. PSG is an expensive shop for Italian teams, not to mention that the player is French and an idol of the fans.”
