Yaya Toure’s agent appears to rule out a move to Inter, insisting his client will stay at Manchester City.

It had been thought that the Ivorian was close to sealing a move to the Nerazzurri, joining up with Coach Roberto Mancini again after their time together in England.

However, Sky Sports is reporting that Dimitri Seluk has told the news outlet that Toure is “too important” for City to let him leave.

Sky reports that while Inter have made an offer for the player, the former Barcelona man will remain in Manchester for next season.

Seluk also denied reports that he had been pushing for a new contract for his client, believed to be the club’s highest earner.
