Thiago Silva’s agent admits a return to Milan is “possible” if he doesn’t renew his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

The centre-back left the Rossoneri for Parc Des Princes in 2012, but his current contract expires at the end of next season.

With no talks currently underway concerning a renewal, rumours have emerged that the 32-year-old could return to San Siro.

“At the moment everything is stopped,” agent Paulo Tonietto admitted, speaking to Calciomercato about the contract talks.

With no talks currently underway concerning a renewal, rumours have emerged that the 32-year-old could return to San Siro.

“At the moment everything is stopped,” agent Paulo Tonietto admitted, speaking to Calciomercato about the contract talks.

“We expect to see something in December and we’ll evaluate with the club. If PSG don’t qualify for the next Champions League then Thiago certainly won’t extend it.

“There are many clubs interested in him.

“Milan? It’s no secret that Milan have remained in his heart and that he’s got a lot of affection for them, as well as the city of Milan where he was very happy.

“I want to clarify that we haven’t had any contact with the Rossoneri, and Thiago has a contract with PSG, but if in the end we don’t renew then anything would be possible, including a return to Milan.”

Would that be dependent on Milan qualifying for the Champions League this season?

“I think Milan have a good chance of returning.”
