The Egyptian international had spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, but has since opted not to return, despite the Viola activating their clause to bring him back.

The player had the power of veto over any move, but Fiorentina claim he responded too late, and refused to turn up for pre-season, and are therefore considering legal action.

“The player will go to the training camp with Chelsea,” Ramy Abbas told Sky.

“The English club meeet up again officially on Thursday in London, and Salah will be there with them.”

It’s believed Inter are at the head of the queue to bring him back to Italy, with Fiorentina furious with the Nerazzurri for, as they see it, turning Salah’s head.
